Beyond leading his own ensemble, Ferrarone is a sought-after sideman, having recorded various albums for diverse artists including Tony Succar, Grupo Rebolu, The Horizons Jazz Orchestra and many others. He was also presented an Outstanding Trumpet Soloist Award from Wynton Marsalis at the 2013 and 2014 Essentially Ellington Competition at jazz at the Lincoln Center.
