Jim Stafford is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and comedian. While prominent in the 1970s for his recordings “Spiders & Snakes,” “Swamp Witch,” “Under the Scotsman’s Kilt,” “My Girl Bill,” and “Wildwood Weed,” Stafford headlined at his own theater in Branson, MO from 1990 to 2020.

Stafford was also known for his television career, including “The Jim Stafford Show,” a six-week summer variety series shown on ABC in 1975 as well as appearances on “Gemini Man,” “Riding with Death,” “The Love Boat” and “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.”
